FACES Cosmetics Mother's Day Event - Glam On Color Perfect Launch

A week ago FACES Cosmetics hosted a special event for mother's on the occasion of Mother's Day. I took my mom to this event and we both had a lot of fun.

This was the first time my mom came along for such an event and she was surprised to get a make over done by the MUA. The MUA was a sweet girl who not only gave my mom a makeover but also gave her special tips on skin care and make up application based on my mom's skin.

On this occasion FACES Cosmetics also launched their Glam On range of Color perfect lipsticks, Perfect blush, Eyeliner, Mascara and Prime Perfect Pressed powder.

Glam On Prime Perfect Pressed Powder is a velvety compact that blends effortlessly to give you a flawless skin and a radiant glow. My mom's skin instantly brightened up and looked very fresh (she already has great skin but the compact just made everything look perfect). On her cheeks the MUA applied the Glam On Perfect Blush - this is available in 4 beautiful colors - a lovely pink was applied to my mom and gave her cheeks a natural flush glow.

My mom doesn't wear kajal or liner any more but after a lot of coaxing she agreed to apply the Glam On Perfect Noir Eyeliner - the MUA made sure it looked very natural and just gave a nice definition to her eyes.

The Glam On Color Perfect lipstick comes in 16 gorgeous colors, from the most easily worn tones to the most trending styles. The texture is smooth and hydrating - almost balm like but very highly pigmented. My mom was given a lovely pink pout to match her outfit but make her face look a bit glamorous. All the girls present complimented her a lot and I was happy that she agreed to sportingly wear the bright pink she would otherwise shy away from.

We had fun playing games and eating yummy looking donuts. Also got to meet the CEO of FACES Cosmetics, Sharmili Rajput who herself was wearing a lovely shade of lipstick from FACES. Everyone was curious to know what shade she was wearing.  Overall it was a fun afternoon and my mom had great fun. We got a cute little pouch containing a few products from the new range (see the one my mom is holding in the pic above). I will be sharing reviews in the coming days.

I wore a jumpsuit from StalkBuyLove.com to the event, it has a floral top with a bright red floral palazzo lower. I am in love with jumpsuits this summer. On my face I did a makeover for my lips using the new Glam On lipstick in Fuschia Love.
