"She untied her hair and her bun gave way to silky shiny hair that swayed with the wind creating music of their own"
I just made that up! But, the product I'm reviewing today actually gives me hope of having such hair!
Moroccanoil Treatment - The Original - Review, Swatch |
Moroccanoil® Treatment is an oil-infused hair treatment serum that uses organ oil to transform your hair. It is useful for conditioning dry hair, for styling and for using as a finishing product to tame those flyways that always bother us specially when our hair is behaving crazily frizzy!
Argan oil is said to be antioxidant rich and this Moroccanoil® Treatment is also infused with vitamins. What this means for hair is that this treatment helps detangle hair while speeding up the drying time. It leaves hair nourished and shiny.
Price: Rs 2945 or USD 44 (100 ml)
Available at professional salons or online HERE
Packaging, Fragrance and Texture
Moroccanoil® Treatment serum comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a screw cap. Inside the package is an additional pump dispenser that you can attach to the bottle. This pump dispense also has a locking mechanism (rotate clockwise to lock and vice versa)
The serum is pale yellow in color and has a faint fragrance that is not noticeable minutes after application. It is so gentle that it won't bother you at all (and actually smells nice - a mix of floral with a hint of spice!)
The Moroccanoil® Treatment is non-sticky, spreads easily on the hair and gets absorbed quickly. Hair feels smoother and shinier instantly. It also gives a healthy feel to the hair specially when applied to damp hair.

My Experience With Moroccanoil Treatment
I have used this after towel drying my hair and it feels amazing. My hair dries out in its natural waves but without the frizz. I got a lot of compliments recently on instagram on a pic where I was actually showing my shirt but girls noticed the hair instead (that pic actually has my hair in an uncombed state!)
I also use this over dried hair to tame any loose ends or flyways. As a serum it also works in easing out the hair straightening process while protecting the hair at the same time.

If you remember I had reviewed a similar product almost a year back - the SeaSoul Dead Sea Moroccan Liquid Gold. So there were bound to be comparisons. I find both the products to be very similar in terms of the results. The only difference is that this product is alcohol free whereas SeaSoul claims their product to be paraben free.
Moroccanoil® Treatment also comes in a 'light' variant - that one is meant to be used by people who have extremely thin hair and want an ever lighter serum for their hair.

Again a product that is on the pricier side but you won't regret investing in one single bit. If you have had many bad hair days and would like to get some hair sanity back, then do try this product. 100 ml should last you a long time as only one or two pumps are enough for mid length hair.

ReplyDeleteWorld Keratoconus Day is a chance to raise extra awareness of the disease and this year falls on 10th November. Keratoconus is a disease of the cornea which is progressive but non-inflammatory. Keratoconus is caused by weakening of the collagen fibres which would normally maintain the cornea's dome-like shape. With this disease the weakened cornea starts to thin, change shape and bulge outwards. This bulging and thinning causes the cornea to form a gradual cone shape which can severely affect vision. https://visualaidscentre.com/service/eyes-specialist-delhi/
